Booklet Printing 101

Posted by: logoworld on: February 4, 2009

Why print booklets? Because with a very small print collateral, you can have big returns from your investments.

Unlike company giveaways such as pens, coffee mugs, and pads, booklet printing provides your business with a lot of impact that the other stuff do not. More than any handout, your print booklets have an enduring and solid effect to your target clients. They simply provide value that does not overwhelm the readers.

From booklets of 8 to 48 pages, you are able to educate your readers, as well as provide solutions to their issues and concerns. Booklet printing may be small, but it sure leaves your target clients with a positive impression that you are someone that they can trust and rely on when they need answers to their needs. Your print booklets definitely give information fast, which in today’s world are what consumers are looking for.

The cost of starting your booklet printing is also less demanding on the budget. Unlike other giveaways and handouts, they can be easily used the whole year round even with different marketing campaigns. They can conveniently complement your other promotional efforts or simply be your main collateral for your business.

So why print booklets?

A booklet is great collateral that any industry can use as their marketing tool. Whether you are giving out information, or exhibiting in a trade show, booklets are something unique that you can offer to your target clients. In addition, even if you are small or a Fortune 500 company, printing booklets is definitely convenient because it does not eat much of your resources, especially if you print in larger quantities.

Booklets can be easily designed and produced by your company. If you want to save on time and energy, you can also get a booklet printing company to do it for you. Just remember to be hands on with what information would be inside its pages. A topic of interest for your target clients would be a bestseller for your print handout.

Common sense, basic, helpful, practical and sensible how-to information are the best contents in a quality booklet. Nevertheless, remember to always have a topic that is relevant and valuable to your readers. Most information that is useful is generally those that are important to your target market. It can be solutions to issues or concerns, particularly those that most people ignore. More often than not, what is considered as breakthroughs are simple facts that people forget because of too many things that occupy their minds. Hence, booklets are means to remind your target readers of what they have failed to remember, as well as communicators of new ideas and information.

Why print your booklets? Because you simply cannot ignore anymore the value of having a powerful marketing tool such as a booklet in your arsenal.

This is my first visit to the blog. I have to say that you explained booklets as a marketing tool very well. There is one other huge value that can be gained from booklets, if you are the author, it establishes instant credibility. If you are the author, make sure your picture is on it.

The Basics of Booklet Printing…

One of the many reasons businesses reach for booklet printing is because so much information can be crammed into a small package at a low cost. Training manuals, mini-catalogs, educational information – all of these are candidates for booklet printin…

“Booklets can be easily designed and produced by your company. If you want to save on time and energy, you can also get a booklet printing company to do it for you.”

I wholeheartedly agree that booklets can be designed by anyone, but I strongly recommend that people with little experience save the printing for professionals.

For example, few people understand imposition – printing pages in the appropriate order – and creep – the phenomenon of outer pages appearing short because they wrap around inner pages. Those are just two areas that cause inexperienced printers a great deal of frustration. Design software such as InDesign or Microsoft Publisher can help with problems such as these, but for someone who has never used the program before, it can be a little confusing.

Better to leave that to the pros until you have enough experience to handle it on your own.

Thanks for the information! Great blogging.
